Ski~Mojo is een mechanisme gebaseerd op een krachtige, instelbare veer die ongeveer 1/3 van het lichaamsgewicht ondersteunt. Door de veren in de buigfase samen te drukken, wordt energie hersteld en spierkracht vertienvoudigd tijdens het strekken.

Het verende effect van de veren vermindert trillingen, schokken en druk op de knieën met 40%. Het ontlast ook de heupen en de rug.

Knieflexie vereist een extra, onmerkbare energie-inspanning. Deze extra hamstringarbeid, geschat op 10%, in combinatie met een vermindering van de quadricepscontractie met 30%, helpt de kruisbanden te beschermen.

De productie van melkzuur, dat de spieren ineffectief maakt, wordt vertraagd en beperkt. Dit vermindert het risico op vermoeidheidsgerelateerde ongevallen en spierpijn.
